    We are Iconic Cycling Events (ICE), a division of Breathing Space Activities Limited, and we are organisers of events and programmes for individual participants, as member of the public, or on events and programmes organised by our corporate clients. We use personal data to provide services to our clients (including in the administration of our events), help provide services for other clients for market research and general marketing purposes.

    This privacy policy sets out the basis on which data we collect, or that is provided to us, will be processed by us. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.

  2. WHO DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION ABOUT?

    • from individuals who participate in or are interested in participating in the events we manage
    • about individuals representing organisations that we work with; and

    • contact information, for example, personal and/or work email addresses and phone numbers, including contact details for persons to be contacted in case of an emergency relating to anyone participating in an event we organise
    • identifying information, for example, date of birth and gender
    • medical information, when given by participants in events
    • from users of our website, information about the website that users came from or are going to. We also collect information on which pages of our website users visit, IP addresses, the type of browser used and the times our website is accessed. However, this information is aggregated and is not used to identify individuals. We do not require personal data to be submitted in order to use our website.

    The most common consequence of our use of personal information is in the administration of a participant’s entry in one of our events.

    We use cookies to distinguish between users of our website, to collect information about users' online preferences, to provide users with a good experience when browsing our website and to improve our website.     We use performance cookies which collect anonymous information on how people use our website.     Use of web beacons
    Some of our web pages may contain electronic images known as web beacons (sometimes known as clear gifs) that allow us to count users who have visited these pages.     If our privacy policy changes in any way, we will place an updated version on our website.
